1209 North Charles Street, a Design Collective, Inc. project, has won a 2006 Mid-Atlantic Condominium Industry Award for Excellence. Given by Delta Associates, a commercial real estate research, advisory and valuation service company, the award distinguished the project as the Best Mid-Atlantic Community Impact Condominium Project.

Located along Baltimore’s premier corridor, 1209 North Charles Street contains 88 condominium units, a 140 space private parking garage and 14,000 SF of ground level retail. In addition to the new infill construction component, the project also consists of the preservation and adaptive use of four historic structures, which will be connected to the infill project. The adaptive use component will include 20 condominium units and an additional 8,000 SF of ground level retail.

The project is being developed by Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse of Baltimore and is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2007.
