As many of you are aware, our current COO Richard Marietta will be retiring at the end of July 2019. Rich’s mentorship, wisdom, guidance, and support have given Design Collective the strong foundation upon which we continue to grow. While Rich will continue to serve as a key advisor and supporter for the firm, we’ll certainly miss seeing him every day.
Mike Goodwin, our rising COO and Managing Principal, has been actively preparing to step into this role. Under his guidance, we will be ready to take on new projects, acquire new skillsets, and pursue new opportunities for Design Collective.
Over the next two months, the Design Collective leadership team will post updates about this transition. Our first update will focus on the firm’s future: our vision, our values, and how we’re making these elements part of our everyday workplace. The second will focus on what’s to come: our outlook for the firm and how our rising COO feels we can exemplify individual betterment – both personally and professionally. Finally, a word from Richard himself, imparting words of wisdom for each and every teammate at Design Collective – and beyond.
