DESIGN COLLECTIVE PROMOTES FOUR NEW SENIOR ASSOCIATE AND THREE NEW ASSOCIATES

Baltimore, Md. – Design Collective Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of four new Senior Associates and three new Associates. 

Those promoted to Senior Associate include:

 Alyse Talbott, AIA

An Architect with over 12 years of experience, she has worked on some of the firm’s most recent and notable mixed-use multi-family projects including the nearly complete Ripley II for Washington Property Company in Silver Spring, Md. Alyse is presently working on Arbor Row, a new mixed-use multi-family building also for Washington Property Company in Mclean, Va.

 Emily Krick-Sales, AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Emily has been an integral team member on several of the firm’s mixed-use multi-family projects with over 20 years of experience as an architect to her credit. Among her recently completed projects is Resa, a new award-winning mixed-use multi-family building in Washington, DC for Skanska Commercial Development. Emily is currently working on Brentford at the Mile, a new mixed-use multi-family building, for Kettler in Tysons, Va. She is also working on a new mixed-use multi-family building with EYA in Reston, Va.

 Erin Slama, CID

A highly-experienced and certified interior designer with over 15 years of experience, Erin has been an vital team member on many mixed-use residential projects. Among her recently completed projects is The Lindley, a new award-winning multi-family building for Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County and EYA in Chevy Chase, Md. Erin is currently wrapping up the interiors for 550 Morse Street, a high-rise for LCOR in Washington, DC as well as Walnut Creek for Hanover Company and New Cultural Center for Orchard Development.

 Nick Aello, AIA, LEED GA

Throughout Nick’s career, he has focused on the complex technical requirements of modern mixed-use design in a variety of construction types. Within 14 years as a design architect, Nick has worked on a range of project typologies, from large multi-block master plans to retail and residential projects. Nick is currently working on Parcel H, a high-rise multi-family building for LCOR in North Bethesda, Md. Parcel H is adjacent to Arrowwood, another recently completed mixed-use multi-family building for LCOR and is the final block of development to complete the Quad masterplan.

 Those promoted to Associate include:

 Paul Bilger, AIA
A registered architect with over 10 years of professional experienced to his credit, he has been involved in projects such as 1213 Walnut, an award-winning high-rise for Hines, The Goldenberg Group and ASB Real Estate Investments in Philadelphia, Pa. Most recently, Paul has been working on a new Student Housing Project for Napa Valley College which will provide a multitude of housing opportunities for their diverse population including veterans, foster youths, single parents, international students, athletes and more.

 Michelle Brooks
A Senior Staff Accountant, Michelle has over 30 years of professional experience. She manages all accounting-related functions for assigned projects. She supports project teams with contract modifications; reviews project budgets and reports to project managers; processes vendor invoices and subcontractor payments; and track and collects compliance documents. Michelle also administers and processes payroll and generates reports including Payroll, Accounts/Receivable, Contract Status and Job Cost.

 Timothy Sullivan

An immensely talented graphic designer, Tim specializes in signage & wayfinding, logo and brand development, and art direction & project management of firm and client projects.  His experience stretching over 16 years, has enabled him to work seamlessly across all of Design Collective’s sectors: commercial, higher education, multi-family, urban design, workplace/corporate, student housing, civic/cultural, urban revitalization, landscape architecture and K-12. Among his recently completed projects is the New City Hall for the City of College Park and University of Maryland in College Park, Md as well as Concession Design Criteria for Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) Thurgood Marshall Airport. Tim is currently working on interior graphics for the renovation of Maryland State Education Association’s (MSEA) offices in Annapolis Md.
