Design Collective was recognized by the USGBC’s Maryland Chapter at this year’s 6th Annual Wintergreen Awards Program with two Awards for Excellence for the design of the new West Towson Elementary School in Baltimore County and the design of The Fitzgerald, a new transit-oriented mixed-use development in Baltimore City. West Towson Elementary has achieved LEED NC Silver Certification, while The Fitzgerald is currently registered to achieve a minimum of LEED NC Silver certification with the possibility of attaining Gold. The firm was also recognized as a finalist for project innovation for the design of an environmentally responsive campus master plan for a new School of Planning and Architecture in Bhopal, India.
