Design Collective is currently working with Towson University on the $24 million renovation of their 13-story Residence Tower. The renovations include upgrading the appearance, functionality and amenities of the building; eliminating existing problems with condensation occurring on the interior of glass window walls, as well as the vertical transmission of smoke, noise and odors from floor-to-floor; upgrading the roof system to obtain warranty renewal and improve the energy efficiency and occupant comfort of the building. The project will use the Construction Management at Risk delivery method and will seek USGBC LEED Silver certification at a minimum.
