Design Collective was awarded a new multi-family mixed-use development in Cool Springs, Tennessee, an upscale sub-market of Nashville. Working with Spectrum Development, Design Collective will begin designing a mid-rise “Class-A” apartment community consisting of approximately 300 units, constructed on approximately 7 acres of land. This parcel is part of a larger master plan development consisting of approximately 71 acres envisioned to include 1.2 million square feet of office space, numerous parks and nature trails, an amphitheatre and ballpark. The overall development is targeting Fortune 500 companies and their employees to continue economic growth in the area. The Cool Springs area is home to many major companies including Nissan North America, Healthways, MedSolutions, Community Health Systems and Tasti D-Lite. Mike Goodwin, Principal of Design Collective says “We look forward to working with Spectrum Development and their development partners to create a vibrant mixed-use community that takes full advantage of this site, the commercial context and surrounding park amenities in Cool Springs.”
