Following a competitive selection process, Design Collective was awarded the renovation and addition to Cromwell Valley Elementary School. The school will be transitioning from Regional Magnet Program to a Neighborhood Magnet Program, receiving a 189-seat addition along with substantial renovations to the existing building. It is anticipated that construction will be phased, beginning in the spring of 2015, allowing the school to remain in continuous operation through substantial completion in August 2016. Cromwell Valley was recognized as a School of Excellence and one of the top 95 Magnet Schools in the United States by Magnet Schools of America in 2013.
