The University of Maryland University College hired Design Collective to renovate the Student and Faculty Services Center on its main campus in Adelphi. The project will renovate the 110,000 square foot building to allow for a new collaborative work environment with flexibility for the changing needs of the rapidly growing College, with over 100,000 students worldwide. The project is utilizing an integrated sustainable design approach from deconstruction and waste management strategies to rainwater harvesting and utilization of an innovative air side economizer for heating and cooling efficiency in order to achieve LEED Gold certification.
