Towson Row Student Housing (Altus)

The project involved the construction of the first student housing in the master-planned Towson Row development near Towson University. The Altus includes 217 units and 703 beds located in an 8-story building, above three levels of parking. The overall development is approximately 477,000 sf in Gross Floor Area geared towards graduate and upper-divisions students.
Each residential unit is apartment-style and fully-furnished with single and double-occupancy bedrooms, one bathroom per bedroom, living room, full kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, high-speed internet and a flat-screen TV. The building entrance and lobby and a leasing office are located on the 1st floor along a newly developed street. The project includes a robust amenities package which includes a clubroom, fitness center, computer lounge, study rooms, game room, and two courtyard decks (which collectively include a swimming pool, grilling area and other outdoor amenities such as fire pits and a dog park). In addition, there is 12,000 sf of ground floor retail and 475 structured parking spaces.
