Chesapeake Analytics Collaborative Building

The University of Maryland, Center for Environmental Science’s (UMCES) state-of-the-art collaborative building to meet demands for a facility that allows for cross disciplinary collaboration and presentation of research. This signature building on the edge of their current campus will showcase sustainability and the research conducted within. The new 2-story, 14,000sf building will be sited adjacent to the Truitt Laboratory with a courtyard between. The courtyard will feature stormwater management as well as outdoor hardscape areas for gathering and outdoor activities. Large glass openings will accentuate the water views on the east end of the building with meeting rooms, offices, and other space types engaging large windows to optimize natural light and views to the campus.
