One Merriweather

The project consists of the first building, One Merriweather, and the parking garage in Area 1 at the corner of Little Patuxent and Broken Land Parkway in Howard County Maryland. This is the first area of development in the Crescent master plan developing around Merriweather Post Pavilion and Symphony Woods. Area 1 will consist of 2 office buildings at approximately 335,000 GSF of office, a 1,200 car garage, a hotel and small retail pavilion. One Merriweather and the garage are the first phase for Area 1 and is the first new office building in Downtown Columbia in 15 years. The Class-A office building is 8-stories tall with a mechanical penthouse on the upper level. It is also the new home for MedStar Health’s headquarters. The building’s amenities will include ground floor retail as well as a fitness suite. Currently, a 4,000 SF, 125-seat restaurant and a 1,900 SF cocktail bar will occupy the office’s ground floor retail space.
